Shriners Visit- Joshua's 4th Casting

Yesterday Joshua had his 4th casting in Philadelphia. My Dad was working so my Mom asked me to come along to help.

His last casts were blue, and he did very well with them.

I tried to take picture of them taking the casts off, but the nurse said no!
My Mom doesn't like that nurse apparently.

He did a great job staying still while she sawed the casts off.
He's free! I missed those legs!

After he got his casts off we sat in the waiting room for a while and Joshua watched my play some games on the iPad.

Then they called us to the casting room and we waited there for a while.

Some cast supplies.

Joshua enjoyed putting the protective stuff on and off.

And building towers!

Then the doctors came in to cast him.
Apparently that was the worst he did, but he seemed to do well to me.

He moaned a bit when stretched his feet out.

Mom was afraid to do green again after the horrible time we had with them.
But for Christmas we got red and green stripes.

Joshua fell asleep within ten minutes of being in the car. Mom told me that if the casts are good he'll wake up happy. He woke up crying. We stopped for dinner and after eating he was back to himself, and very goofy. He stayed awake the rest of the 3 1/2 hour drive.

Last night he was up crying every hour. So please pray he will sleep tonight! So tomorrow we don't have grouchy boy again!
