Favorite Photo Friday- "Joshua"

It's been awhile since I've posted about Joshua. So this is my "update". I took this pictures outside on Tuesday. I am also not sure if I told you, his foster Mom was here.

You could see the worry on his face. Wondering if he'd be taken away. If we were giving him back. We saw the first weeks home again. The temper tantrums, the whining, the battles. They all came back.

She is visiting another family until Tuesday, then she'll be back. It could have set him back REALLY far. However he's doing VERY well. 

So sorry lil' bud, that your life is so uncertain right now. You'll learn to trust.

 

Crazy Squirrels

Okay, so I know what your thinking.

"Squirrels, really Emma? You can't think of a better post?"

Well I could post more random pictures of Lily and Josh fighting... but why put you're guys eyes through that???

Plus, this squirrel posed very nicely for me on the deck.

You should know that our backyard is Squirrel Kingdom.

If you ever want to do a nature study on Squirrels, come to my backyard.

However, you should know we have crazy Squirrels.

No lie.

These things are nuts!

They sunbathe on our deck. ALL THE TIME.

And they crawl on the screens of a kitchen windows and hang there.

I have also been chased multiple times by the squirrels.

I'm telling you, these things have a mind of their own.

The, "Their more afraid of you than you are of them," doesn't apply.

They fear nothing.

This squirrel is rather skinny and has a weird bulge on it's back.

On another note, I finished my first week in High School!

Let's just say i'm ready for the week-end! 

His Backpack

Guess what Mr. Joshua found??

That's right a Sesame Street backpack.

He's been walking around with it on his back the last few days.

So far he hasn't figured out what to put in it...

guess that will come.

Favorite Photo Friday- Grocery Store

We headed out this morning on a grocery trip.

Since coming home with Joshua, it's been interesting.

Two, two-year old in a cart.

By each other, for more than two minutes.

It war, let me tell you.

Lots of whining, lots of pushing, lots of tattle-talling.

But this is life with twins.. right?

Or virtual twins that is!

We made.

There's food.

And no one died.

Mission accomplished!

Vacant Shoes- Favorite Foto Friday

Why is that a fav. photo, Emma?

Well, I see these shoes, sitting in a basket, every day. Among other vacant clothes.

Whenever I see them sitting there I'm reminded of a precious face I will soon kiss!

That's why I love this "temporarily-vacant" shoes.

I can't wait for the day when I tie their laces!
