Yesterday I made these delicious snickerdoodle cookies!
They are SO easy and really yummy!
Start by creaming together butter and sugar.
Add egg,
brown sugar,
and vanilla.
Mix those together.
Next add flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
Mix it all together.
Let your dough chill a good 30 minutes to an hour.
Then mix together some cinnamon sugar.
Roll balls through sugar, covering them completely.
Bake the cookies at 300 degrees,
for 12-14 minutes (and no longer!!)
When the cookies come out they may appear to be under-cooked,
but they will continue to form while they cool.
They are so good I LOVE them!
Here is the recipe:
-1/2 cup of butter (softened)
-1/2 cup white sugar
-1/3 cup brown sugar
-1 egg
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-1 1/2 cup flour
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
-2 tablespoons white sugar
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
This make about 19 cookies
So depending on your crowd, you might want to double the recipe.
*Note*
Don't forget! Tomorrow's Black & White Wednesday theme is "Eyes". Can't wait to see you!
